This place is a gem! Many of food options from taco stuff, soups, “homestyle food” that was absolutely delicious. Oh and one of the best dessert sections I’ve ever seen at a buffet. Pies galore. Some looked like they were out of a box (not a bad thing) but some definitely were home made. They had other sweets that you wouldn’t find most buffets either. Everything I had was good. They still had a small breakfast section as well when we went in the afternoon. If I ever come through this area again I will definitely be stopping again. The owner was working the register as well nice guy with a nice restaurant with good food.
We were passing through town and decided to check this place out. Boy were we happy we did!!! There food selection is wonderful, the staff is wonderful and the cost is very reasonable! If you're in the area we highly recommend you stop in. Fawn was our waitress she was absolutely wonderful!
Great place. Never been here before, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food is homecooked, all super hot, and seems like it's from scratch. The fried chicken has great flavor and is very juicy. The steaks are above par, too. Better food than should come from a buffet. We live in Springfield, but we'll be back!
The food was great and there is a lot of precautions taken to protect us from the virus in a public place. Also the service was great as well. Went to this restaurant again today and boy was it good. It has the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection and yet so moist. Actually everything I ate was delicious. They have a great salad bar, main courses and mouthwatering deserts. Then there is the staff. They are each busy but not to busy to help. P.S. the owner has had many years of experience so he knows how to treat his customers.
We drive past here MANY times a year and have never stopped....until today that is. WHY DID WE WAIT SO LONG?!?!? It was delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful! We WILL be visiting again!!!
50 paid for 2 adults for weekend dinner buffet & drinks on steak night (Fri&Sat nights) which is a great bargain considering all of the options on the buffet. Everything was fresh, the staff was great, John cooked some great steaks! Lots of desserts as well, including sugar free and the *good* soft serve ice cream - vanilla, chocolate or twist. It was a great first visit - definitely worth the drive and somewhere I plan to take my friends and family in the future!
I was surprised at the number of food options. I have a restricted diet right now and had. No problem finding something satisfying to eat. My husband is not restricted and he really didn’t have a problem. They were preparing steak the night we were there and surprisingly it was a very, very good steak. They also had a sugar free dessert bar. We visited on a Saturday night and they weee busy. The service was impeccable. Our attendant kept the dishes cleared and our glasses full. We will return to visit this restaurant.
We dropped in Dietz while traveling for business and it was a fantastic mix of home cooked food and buffet style goodies!! Everything from popcorn shrimp, Garlic Bisquits, catfish, fried rice, fried okra, sald bar and vegetables, great pies and more!!! This is a great place to check out for sure!!
